So i decided to really clean… I mean really, really, really clean.  I started with the kitchen and got that done, then the Bug’s room.  The two hardest are now out of the way and I’m feeling a little run down >.<  Considering that the only help I’ve got is a Bug who wants to play more than anything… So as soon as he figures out that it’s work.. BOOM!  He’s gone.  So it’s a little slow going at the moment.  It took me a day and a half to get the kitchen done.. And another day to get Tony’s room done.  Now I just have my bedroom, bathroom and the living room.  I’m doing the bedroom first.  Simple reason.  When I go to clean the living room, I know there’s going to be a bunch of stuff that has to go to all the other rooms.  Easier to clean everything else first and put it away as I go along.

My New Year’s Resolution?  I don’t have one.  I hate the damn things.  Cuz when I don’t do it I feel like crap.  I have the attention span of a fruit fly on crack.. So there are no promises at all that I can finish what I start. lol

Anyway.. Back to cleaning I guess.  Thats enough of a break for me!

A Message by George Carlin:

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.

We’ve learned how to make a living, but not a life. We’ve added years to life not life to years. We’ve been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbour. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We’ve done larger things, but not better things.

We’ve cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We’ve conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We’ve learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete…

Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.

Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.

Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn’t cost a cent.

Remember, to say, ‘I love you’ to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.

Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.

Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

If you don’t send this to at least 8 people….Who cares?

daisy2.gifNo really… What birthday? I don’t see a birthday.. >.> I’m still 25. Really.

LOL. Nah, I don’t mind the extra year tacked on to my age. *shrug* What’s one more year? So I’m 30. Yep. No black balloons yet. I’m not overly worried about what goes on for my B-day. I have more important things to worry about right now. Like bills. Oi. This time of year it gets so bad. Everyone gets edgy and the prices get jacked. I might have to shut off the net for a while just to get things done. I’ve already turned off my WoW account for the month. Doesn’t matter though cuz I need he break anyway. You all know me. :) I’ll be back before you know it. I love the guys, but hell, there’s only so much WoW one can take. (Especially being only one of 3-5 active females in the guild. HELP!)

X has actually started to call regularly. Well, almost.. He misses a day here and there. And last night it was like a gas bomb went off in the apartment. We all fell asleep, save Az. We’ve all just been so tired with all the stress going on.

Oh yeh, I didn’t tell you all yet. Az got into another car accident and totaled our car. *sigh* He is fine and we have a rental until Christmas, so we are okay for now. The issue is just getting a car for around 2 grand that’s got good gas millage and is smaller sized. No luxury editions. Since it’s the holidays, things are just so jacked.. It’s hard. So we will likely wait until after the holidays to see what happens.

Funny thing about the accident.. The car used to belong to Az’s grandpa and it’s been almost exactly a year since he died. Az says, ‘Well… I guess he was either upset about me delivering papers for someone other than the Examiner, or he just wanted his car back.’ Grandpa used to be an editor for one of William Randolph Hearst’s papers over here in California. Rather, I should say, THE editor. Az is driving for USA Today. He he he. It’s a job, I guess.

Anywho.. I guess that’s all for now.

Oh yeh, I added a new recipe to the list. Check it out :)
