STO

o.. I have a few free months of WoW from my brother and his friend.  I think.  Erik said he and Marshall were going to give WoW another month and see what happened.  But I think they are going to leave for the new Star Wars MMO.  But anyway… Now I need a break from WoW :(  So I played play STO and SC2 for a little while.  My STO 5-day trial is done and I miss it already. :(  I really enjoy the “geek out” factor I get from it.  I never really had that playing WoW.  Of course, I hadn’t been a WoW fan since I was a toddler.  Nope, that was Star Trek.  I dunno what to do!  Maybe it is because STO is new and shiny.  I’ll give it a few days and we’ll see if I still want it..  Not that I have the money to buy it right now..

So! STO. I didn’t get past Lt. Commander Rank 8 because I didn’t crack out that much. But one of the last quests I did was going to the Gateway System to go back in time through the Guardian of Forever, which had me totally flipping with nerd happiness. BUT!! Even beyond that.. I got to rescue Kirk’s Enterprise from a Klingon attack before zipping off to save a kidnapped NPC. Then come back to Gateway only to find more Klingon ships and then get saved by the Enterprise in turn! I totally geeked out. I mean, seriously.. AHHHH!!!! That’s so cool!!

I should have between 60 and 80 dollars coming to me for babysitting the last two weeks.  It will be 80 as of Sunday.  I hope they didn’t forget to pay me. :(

Az and I are trying to earn money anyway we can at this point : /  We’re so short on money that we might have to get rid of the net for a little while just to make ends meet.  Then where would I be?  Can’t build webpages. Can’t talk to family..  I can’t keep getting cash from my parents forever.. but there are no jobs here to be had.. So what can I do?  Even the retail stores have stopped taking applications and no one even responds to my resume.  It’s disheartening.  I guess I can go back to school now…  Maybe.  I’ll have to go out to the San Marcos campus and ask for help.
